New benefits and changes to existing benefits will go into effect on January 30, 2020.
Exception: Due to the Medallion earning year, the MQD waiver will be removed from the Delta SkyMiles Gold Card, Delta SkyMiles Gold Business Card and the Delta SkyMiles Business Card on December 31, 2019.
The Miles Boost benefit will be changed to Status Boost on January 30, 2020. Status Boost will no longer include bonus miles. Miles can still be earned through the Miles Boost benefit until January 29, 2020.
With Status Boost for Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card and Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business Card Members, you can get closer to Medallion Status by earning 15,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) after you spend $30,000 in eligible purchases on your Card in a calendar year, up to four times per year. The MQD waiver will no longer be available on the Delta SkyMiles® Gold Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business Card, or the Delta SkyMiles® Business Card starting January 1, 2020.
